I was right before for Bradley vs Manny 3.
Now it's gonna be Jesse Vargas vs Manny Pacquiao
Win or lose to Brook,Vargas is the name Bob Arum wants all along.
(Only fool can't see that!)
Longer pac delays the more difficult it will b 4 him... Broner does not possess any threat 2 him ...easy fight which is probably why he is taking him, avoiding fighters with far better skills then Broner...never a mention of Garcia North Crawford and the list goes on...
how can he stay retired when arum is already planning fights for him. bob hasnt even spoke to manny yet. "im not sure if he will return, i believe he wants to fight" ..

Arum said broner was an option, didn't say he was fighting him for sure. Manny just fought Tim Bradley who I believe would beat garcia and almost every other top welterweight. Also you mention Crawford but Crawford has never fought at 147, nobody knows how he would do at that weight so it could be a mismatch. Broner is not the best but its a pretty good fight and would be entertaining. I would prefer Crawford too but broner is decent and then hopefully he fights the winner of brook- Vargas after that. Who exactly is pacquiao avoiding that has been calling him about? I guarantee if may weather fought broner you would support that.
Pacquiao vs. Broner is a PPV blockbuster! Classic "good vs. evil" battle, WWE with boxing gloves! However, it's sad to see that Arum and Roach are not trying to convince Manny to stay retired, but instead, they're trying to convince him to continue. Hasn't Manny done enough? Doesn't he have enough money???
Put yourself in Manny's shoes. He just schooled bradley who is probably top 3 welterweight. Manny would be the top dog at 147 if he fights again. He is guaranteed to make 20+ million. That lalast fact alone is a no brainer why should continue fighting. Until he starts to lose against guys like broner he'd be ****** not to keep collecting 20 million dollar paydays as long as he can. If I were Manny I'd feel obligated to my family to keep collecting those big checks until I couldn't any longer. He's still at the very top so why should he quit if he's not really declining.
If they work as little as US senators do, he'll have time.
So true, he didn't get himself elected for hard work. It's more dirt than sweat, mud slinging and graft. He could have done almost anything else, but no, he had to turn into a crook.

Pacquiao's wife has been wanting him to retire for some time now, going back to 2012, and most definitely after the Marquez KO!!! I know guys who retire very nicely in the Philippines on 50K a year. Money should not be a problem for Pacquiao...EVER!
Jinkee Pacquiao told USA Today Sports this week that she was frightened when her husband was sent face-first into the canvas by one punch from rival Juan Manuel Marquez in the sixth round of their bout Dec. 8 in Las Vegas. Manny Pacquiao was given a CT scan, the results of which were negative.
"It's the first time I've seen him like that, lying on the canvas, and I was scared,'' she told USA Today Sports. She said she began screaming and crying, and was comforted by promoter Bob Arum.
As far back as late October, Manny Pacquiao made it known his fight Saturday against Timothy Bradley Jr. would be his last. Pacquiao reaffirmed that choice after winning by unanimous decision against Bradley in Las Vegas, per Lance Pugmire of the Los Angeles Times.
"He's torn," Arum said, per Wallace Matthews of ESPN.com. "His wife wants him to retire. He's running for office, and if he wins, which he will, there will be tremendous responsibilities that go with it. However, a big payday is something he might require in the near future."
