That's a Vegas fight. Canelo vs Smith is a Cowboy stadium fight. Canelo did half the ticket sales in Vegas than he did in Dallas and his gate was higher than the Cowboy stadium gate. Big spenders aren't going to spend the weekend in Dallas. Boxing isn't a family even like the superbowl. Big boxing matches are held in Vegas, the grownup Disneyworld

Depends on what the ticket prices are. Canelo-Trout I think sold out the whatever area it was in, only because Oscar priced tickets at 20 bucks or something.

You don't think the buttering up GGG did at Dallas will help and the Mexican fan bases will come out to support? I agree it makes more sense to hold it at MGM or Tmobile but do you think they could sell 60,000 tickets?

You'll sell out with a lot of $20 tickets. You aren't finding those type of tickets in Vegas. They can make more money selling less tickets in Vegas. If you've never been to a big Vegas fight I highly suggest you attend Ward vs Kovalev in November. This might be the most reasonably priced major fight in Vegas you'll ever find. Crawford vs Postol is reasonably priced but it aint a super fight like Kovalev vs Ward. And it's to damn hot in Vegas in July
