Why isn't WBA forcing a purse bid on Jacobs v. Golovkin?

Didn't Mendoza say he would order the fight if GGG-Canelo didn't go through?
Well it didn't go through and now what?
Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin successfully satisfied his mandatory obligation of the middleweight title on Saturday night, this time against his IBF mandatory challenger, Dominic Wade, who was stopped in two rounds. Golovkin also happens to be the WBA 'super' champion at that weight class. The 'regular' version of that belt is held by Danny Jacobs.

As far as I know, the Canelo-Golovkin talks haven't yet fallen through

But you're heavily mistaken if you think the WBA have any integrity in the first place.

Why collect sanctioning fees from one fighter when you can collect them from two fighters?

Except they announced Canelo vs Liam Smith already. And GBP has gone on record to say they MIGHT fight GGG next fall. Ain't no talks happening right now.

Because Danny Jacobs already singed for his mega-fight with Sergio Mora before the Canelo talks concluded.
