Comments Thread For: Santa Cruz Says Frampton's 'Weak Chin' Will Crack From Pressure

Leo Santa Cruz will look to exploit Carl Frampton's 'weak chin' when the two unbeaten featherweights clash in New York on July 30. Mexican Santa Cruz (32-0-1, 18KOs) - also a world champion at 118 and 122 pounds - defends his WBA world title against the Belfast man, who has moved up to 126lbs from super-bantamweight after his unification title win over Bury's Scott Quigg back in February.

The sport needs more stars in general. Frampton is already a star.

Frampton better get a good payday, cuase he is gonna get mauled by panty cruz, and after that, what is he gonna do? Stay at 126 and get knocked out by every contender? Or go back to 122 where he ducked rigo after talking all that shyt and getting knocked out there too? He didn't look good in his usa debut against a nobody and didn't take the preassure well when quigg decided to fight.
Unless he puts down panty cruz, he's basically done.

Boxing already has Canelo as their Irish star, how many more do you want?

              canelo cant even speak english.

you cant be a star unless you speak english. you would have to be pulling off great athletic feats if you want to be a mainstream star without some kind of command of the english language.

fighting at your own made up weight class against smaller damaged product fighters is not the way to do it.

I was j/k but Im with you on that, he needs crossover appeal for sure, if his excuses were in English and not spoken through a translator, they might come off better...

i dont understand why mexican fighters dont speak english.

its almost as if its some point of pride that they dont speak english.

as if they are being "pochos" not real mexican or selling out if they speak english.

i mean you living right next to america. best learn english.
