Catch weights are bitch moves and it's even worse with a rehydration clause.

I don't really care as long as the CW is not for a title. Rehydration clauses should be in ALL fights. No blowing up more than the weight class above you. Most guys blow up 1-2 weight classes above them. Or 10 lbs whichever is less.

If it's 147 lbs the max you should be allowed to blow up is 154. If fight at 154 then 160 etc. Except HW's of course. If you can make the weight class above easy then move up in weight and quit picking on smaller guys.

I hate the IBF but love their 10 lb max rule on day of fight.

marquez should just retired.. this dude does not want to make any compromise. wants to fight cotto at 147 plus a rehydration clause? cotto is willing to come down to 149. this is more than fair! cotto should demand ost with extra special testing on marquez. you know memo got the juice and knows how to work his way around it.

Really hope this doesn't pan out. Marquez is way too old and small to fight Cotto at this stage. I think this would end up in his first TKO loss.
