The fact is that no offer to fight GGG, at any weight, was made by Canelo and GPB during real negotiations.

They wanted to "marinate" the fight for another year, and when Golovkin refused to play along, Canelo handed in his belt.

Why does GGG need to move anywhere when he is being paid plenty to fight Eubank and there are good fights on the horizon against Charlo, Andrade, Lara, Canelo, BJS and Jacobs?

Hearn/Eubank have proven how easy K2 is to deal with so the fight is there for any takers

First of all I want to say thank you for keeping this respectful this is what it should be so thanks for that. I bolded the part about getting all the belts because we've heard them say that. But when it came to fighting Froch, Chavez jr, Hopkins, they seemed very interested in those fights at 168 which has nothing to do with collecting middle weight belts. Then they said they could beat Floyd at 154 which again has nothing to do with 160 belts. Then Sanchez said they can beat ANYBODY from 154-168.

And people run with that. With talk like that you have to back it up. If Ward wants the fight at 168, and Lara said he will fight you at 160 and you can't get any other top fights why not beat some of the best that boxing has to offer? Unless they don't think they can beat Ward or Lara.

So lil g has opportunities. But hopefully this Eubank fight is in the right direction.

Yes Sanchez has said a lot over the course of a couple years. I don't necessarily agree with GGG on claiming all MW titles to be unified champion. When nobody will step up, BJS and Canelo. Then he needs to move up to 168.. So a couple fights then should be done with MW division.

Lara is a better boxer than those guys but he's small at SWW, lacks much power, workrate and durability. Sure it's not as big a mismatch as Wade, it's a mismatch just the same and cost many times more. And Wade was mando, Lara refuses to go the logical route. Why?
