Chin vs chin, I think Danny has a big edge. Could see Danny Hurting him.
If it goes to points then Thurman.
But Danny seems to always pull it out so who knows, definitely intrigued.Comment

I think Thurman getting stopped is more likely than Garcia getting stopped. I could see Thurman winning a decision in a close competitive fight but Thurman has destroyed no one of note for me to think he would destroy a Garcia who has been in there with a slew of solid fighters.Comment

He got his ass kicked by herrera and lamont. And has looked very average at WW. Thurman is faster and has more power, porter is a better WW than DSG its an easier fight for thurman that porter wasComment

I think after Matthysee, Garcia has looked almost progressively worse in each fight. He's flat footed, has average power, speed, etc. No one he's fought since Matthyssee has a package of skills with any combinations that feature the pop that Thurman has. IMO.I think Thurman getting stopped is more likely than Garcia getting stopped. I think Danny is average, against those solid fighters you mentioned, he basically got his ass beat kinda. Thurman has a way more destructive arsenal than Peterson and Herrera.Comment

The last time Garcia fought three times was 2012, so it ain't got **** to do with PBC. I don't see that pattern changing this year. Maybe they'll put him and Jacobs on the same card.Last edited by kiaba360; 06-27-2016, 02:55 PM.Comment

I think Danny was struggling to make weight at 140 and that hampered some performances. I've never seen him hurt before and he's taken some bombs. I don't think he's average at all. I just think nothing stands out about him which is why people make lazy analyses like, "he's average." He's well-schooled, solid puncher, solid beard, solid quicks and can box moving forward or backward (see: Matthysse, Guerrero). He's got a wealth of amateur experience and is battle tested as a pro. No one is going to walk over him easy.I think after Matthysee, Garcia has looked almost progressively worse in each fight.
