dibella gonna dibella. His entire promoters career has been to talk down other fighters in praise of his own. It's transparent and anybody that's followed boxing long enough knows what he's all about.

On a separate note, I enjoyed both fight greatly, no matter how much dihoe wants to play one against the other.

Why the racism? I'm sure the most watched fight in 2016 was viewed by more than just "the hood****." It's all good though! It's the hate that lives in you, that made Ali and Mayweather what they became. The haters kept paying to see their downfall, and they just became more rich and powerful with each victory. Lou is smoking as s crack if he thinks Porter-Thurman was a better fight. He hyped one time, didn't happen. Porter was supposed to rough up Thurman, didn't happen. Everything promised about Vargas-Salido was delivered.

Agree. The skills argument is a little unsupportable. Porter was hit (and CompuBox is a rough estimate, admittedly) with a higher % and total of power shots Saturday than Margarito was in the first Cotto fight. Porter has stamina, will, fire, but skill? His skill set is unrefined. The two-way defense, in a more active fight, was superior in Salido-Vargas by the numbers and the infighting was superior in form.

Salad-Vargas was a markedly better fight in almost every aspect beyond audience size.

I didn't find Salido-Vargas particularly entertaining. Power and skill were two ingredients missing from that fight. It was two guys with similar type of power just punching each other in the center of the ring. There wasn't much movement either.

Mayweather and Rigondeaux and Ward are skilled and have gret movement...nobody considers them "entertaining"

Salido vs vargas was just a 12 round slugfest....get boring after a while ....thurman porter had skill slugfest and Thurman was forced to adapt great fight

No it's because Thurman and Porter have skill and decided to brawl, Salido and Vargas aren't nearly as skillful so everyone expected a brawl. In short no one expected Thurman and Porter too box that way which they did and it was awesome. Not everything comes down too race bro.
