    Yeah I agree with this. Pound for pound Salido/Vargas was more of a bloodbath, but Thurman/Porter was a terrific fight in its own right; very entertaining and more skill involved (mostly coming from Thurman)...and it was by leaps and bounds a more meaningful fight. Way more was on the line for Porter/Thurman.

      People are looking at Thurman Porter through rose tinted glasses.....it was a pretty tense watch and very good action, but there was little clean sutained action in a lot of rounds....the crowd and the audio quality in the ring was sick though, elevated the event.

      Salido alone showed more craft than those guys. Though I will say he ran out of gas at times when the action couldve gone from very good to amazing.

      Vargas Salido just had more bad intentions from both guys IMO.
