However, we all know Haye defeats a journeyman like Pulev.

We really don't because Haye has routinely avoided actual heavyweight contenders for as long as he's been active in the division. His best win is over Chisora.

He faced a prime Wlad and has never avoided any fighter, unless you're going to join the others and suggest he lied about his injuries, lied about being in hospital and lied about having shoulder surgery, just so he could avoid Tyson Fury?

"It is very rare for a British fighter to win a world title away from home but Haye did it twice.

"He was top class in the cruiserweight division. At heavyweight he faltered at the very highest level. But he got closer on points than any of Wladimir Klitschko's other challengers.

"He brought great excitement with his attitude and punching power and can be proud of the mark he has made on British boxing."
Taken from 2013. Remember, Haye was still adapting to HW boxing, its not a simple move from crusierweight to HW, it takes time and people say Haye was in his prime, yet the current Haye will prove this version is better then his previous HW version, but that can only happen when a leading HW fighter takes a risk and fights Haye.

Also remember George Foreman got a cut in one of his final sparring sessions before the 'Rumble in the Jungle' and the fight was delayed six weeks, it just happens in boxing
