Yeah we're rubbish, but still better than Scotland.

You lads should just give up football completely and petition the Olympic Committee to include shooting up heroin as an official event, you might do well at that.

As is mentioned here, that 18 month ban had already expired by the time it was announced.

Tyson and Hughie Fury are both licenced by the BBBoC. If they had tested positive for a steroid the BBBoC would have done the same thing they did to Dillian Whyte and Kid Galahad - suspended their licences immediately.
Rubbish. The reason why Thompson wasn't banned straight of the bat, was because he put up a lenghty legal defense.

Fury might be following the same path.

There is no evidence for that at all, just an unsourced story in a UK tabloid newspaper.

The story claims the test was conducted by UKAD. In the past, UKAD and the BBBoC have always acted immediately to suspend the licence of any UK based boxer who fails one of their tests. That hasn't happened to Tyson or Hughie Fury.

Try reading the article you linked to properly.

The BBBoC banned Thompson from fighting in the UK for 18 months, but couldn't stop him from fighting anywhere else because he is licensed outside the UK.

The delay was in ANNOUNCING the failed test, NOT acting on it.

By the time Price found out that Thompson had tested positive, in July 2015, the 18 month ban had already been served and expired.

The way UKAD and the BBBoC handle failed tests on UK licenced boxers is to suspend their licence immediately. They can bring lawers in and appeal against the ban - like Dillian Whyte and Kid Galahad - but they stay banned while the appeal is been considered.

                    Inquiry for 15 months?

                    Is this a joke?
