Brezeale has to be commended for shipping so much and staying in there.
Joshua remained composed and used more tools that I'd expected from him.
This was a prime example of good matchmaking for Joshua. What Brezeale had to offer in the way of speed, reflex, skill and offensive resistance was far from impressive which gave Joshua little more than a sturdy but willing target to play with.
So it served it's purpose for AJ, he got rounds and the opportunity to add to his game. He did look better with his movement and jab, but he had a huge amount of room and time to do so which maybe was the difference. So I'm still sitting on the fence over the movement issue.
But that's perhaps harsh, as he did what he was supposed to do, he clearly proved himself way beyond Brezeale's level and put on a great performance.
Undoubtedly what impressed me most , like other here was the patience he showed. Brilliant to see.Last edited by Reverb; 06-26-2016, 05:44 AM.

Joshua did nothing but TOY with Breazeale the ENTIRE time, I said in another forum it may go 6 if Joshua feels he can get rounds......and that's what he did. The final k.o blow didn't even land because it hit Breazeals wrists......and that's b/c the guy took major damage that most would fall from so he knew what was coming. Simply AJ wanted to end it then and there so he did.
For those qusrtioning Joshuaspower, one may want to see statistics b/c guys over 240 usually don't get k.od on average.Breazeale was in shape and game, those obviously out classed here showed his chin.Taking huge punches for 7 rounds takes determination even though AJ clearly LET him fight a slower pace.Last edited by juggernaut666; 06-26-2016, 10:47 AM.
