Joshua was never in danger at any point in the fight. So what it took 7 rounds? He still got him out of there. I guess we're at the point where not KOing an opponent fast enough is a problem.
Joshua did what he had to do. I suppose we should get back to the decades old Klintch fest.Comment

Heavyweight boxing is in as good a state as its been in over a decade. The talent level may not be what it was in good eras. But the division has a lotta good fighters. A lotta colourful personalities. And for the first time in a long time., the division is wide open. Don't know what you've been watching. But heavyweight is arguably the most exciting division in the sport right now.Last edited by hitking; 06-25-2016, 07:05 PM.Comment

Nice, easy sparring session for Joshua there. It's amazing how they have fooled people into believing this guy is the HW champ of the world.
Cornish (joiner and part time boxer)
Whyte (has heart and chin but is a ****e boxer and unranked)
Martin (never heard of him before he got the belt so had to look at videos of him fighting in a gym hall in 240p)
Breazeale (lucky in his last 2 fights and was nothing more than a slow sandbag with no skill)
Joshua has not fought one good fighter yetComment

Lol, the guy was clearly done. He was taking unnecessary punishment at that point. Granted he went down off the air from Joshua's glove, but that in itself shows how much he had left to offer.
After the spate of head injuries this year you can't be too careful. It was obvious what the result of the fight was going to be eventually.Comment
