Only other venue that'd be even remotely comparative, in terms of maximizing everything for eveyone, would be at MGM Resorts in Las Vegas.
I get the Irish angle (which is why they were trying to make Jacobs/Lee). I guess we'll have to wait and see how many people turn out for Frampton. Is it just me, or are a lot of fights taking place in NY lately?

Barclays Center is stepping up in a big way for boxing as one of the marquee venues in the sport, basically working on building in a schedule where they host a big fight event, at least once every month.

You add the work that Lou DiBella and others have done to really re-establish New York as a top boxing market, in addition to the amount of talent that have turned New York into their home or home away from home (Danny Garcia, Deontay Wilder, Daniel Jacobs, etc) and you've got something special that's been built, imo.

It kinda leaves you wondering what coulda been and in Ward and Mikey's case they are long lay offs costing us fans like 3-4 fights

You got that right......as far as taking the easiest fights ......the only way we as fans be it casuals or hardcore fans is to boycott whimps like these.....mickeys cousin the tropical mexican Danny Garcia is another guy that I boycott because he paid step aside money to Victor Postol. .....their manager is not doing so well as I read from a past article not long ago because he is afraid to match his fighters tough....I believe that you gotta churn the roster like the NFL but since he pilfered all his fighters from Golden Boy he is cursed by bad karma....time always tell

So he went with Hymen and PBC? What a sell out. Coming back against a bum and will continue to feast on bums.

Good luck with screwing up your career chump.

Damn didn't realize he has been out 2 1/2 years. That's a long time.
Doesn't seem he has a promoter or I would think he would have said it on the Porter/Thurman telecast.

Hope Mikey does fight the fights we want to see without that diva attitude many have. He may make a fan of me again.
