The weight for the bout will be between 135 and 140 pounds.

Rojas, inactive since August of 2014, has never been stopped and lost a twelve round decision to Jhonny Gonzalez in April of 2012.
    Easing Mikey back into it.

Interested to see how he looks.

Garcia says lengthy litigation took longer than expected. Garcia has not signed with HAYMON, he says

Garcia didn't have to pay TRBoxing to settle his case he says

Hope he gets knocked out for being a little bi atch and ducking gamboa. He could be where Terance Crawford is now fighting on ppv, instead hes taking the haymon route which is taking the easiest fights possible. Its whimps like Garcia that are ruining boxing

People will get wrapped up in Mikey's return and overlook this fact. It's a nice surprise though, seeing as how the card is only a month away. I still don't understand why they put this card in NY though.

Good to see Mikey getting back in the ring. Hopes he gets the rust off & has 2-3 fights before the year is out. Then try to make some moves in 2017 to gain the ground he lost in the last couple years.

Until statements get written up, it's likely still in flux; what is clear, though, is that Mikey Garcia and his camp respect what Haymon is doing, Mayweather really respects what Garcia is doing, and that, and Haymon is more than open to work with Mikey Garcia (with the Jacobs-Mora fight going elsewhere, a main stage spot opened up on a big show, and Garcia is a main stage fighter).

If I had to bet money, I'd say that Mikey Garcia ends up with Haymon/Mayweather, but let's see how the run-up to this July fight goes (event caccomodations for Mikey and his camp, what type of press exposure can be drummed up for Mikey, how hard they actually choose to push Mikey, etc)

Because Carl "The Jackal" Frampton is from Northern Ireland, having the event in arguably the world's media capital will help push the fight on both shores, and it'll be easier for the Brits to travel over for Frampton, in a big fight at one of the premier venues in the United States.

Only other venue that'd be even remotely comparative, in terms of maximizing everything for eveyone, would be at MGM Resorts in Las Vegas.

i hate when fighters have long ass lay offs due to promotional issues.

                      like ward garcia gamboa.
