Then Porter rematches Brook and Thurman takes a few C/B fights to build himself back up

      It's possible.

He will play his flute after and relax for a bit. Porter rematch in a year or less.

I think he knows Porter well enough to know this himself, but I don't suspect it'll look hard from the start. I in particular think the if this goes into the later rounds thats where Porter will really give him a hard time & potentially is where Porter will win the fight. Still picking Thurman, but the deeper this goes with the outcome in doubt the more this leans Porter's way.

If he gets beat down, I could see him taking an extended hiatus or potentially retiring.
Win, lose or draw I'd bet both guys fight again before they've last fought going into this fight. Embarrassing beat down or nah.

Thurman will most likely go back to fighting Karass-type opponents. This is typical in the Haymon business model. You won't see Thurman fighting the loser of another high-profile fight.

Broner and Matthysse, for instance, lost to Maidana and Garcia respectively. Arum would have made these guys fight each other next.

Did Haymon make Broner vs Matthysse? Never. They were undercards twice fighting in the same card but not fighting each other. Matthysse went back to GBP. Fans were forever denied of what could have been another great boxing memory or video to play again and again.

              Rematch with Shawn Porter.

If he loses the rematch ... I have no idea; he'll get bumped back to where Porter was after he loss to Brook, with no real budding glamour fight in the cue to get his heat back (Shawn Porter getting Adrien Broner was a stroke of genius).

The way the division is lining up, Thurman may have to get in with Errol Spence Jr (and arguably risk another L) to get back on track.

Rematch Porter. Also, don't see why he couldn't just fight guys like Garcia, Brook, Spence, .ect even if he lost. It's not like those guys are doing much.

His marketability would take a hit, he's not suppose to lose a Porter type of guy.
