Here's a video of Sanchez reiterating the 154-168 statement. He also said Cotto never sparred GGG when Cotto was at Big Bear. He said GGG was to big to spar Cotto. He also said they would fight Cotto at 154. He said Edwin turned down a fight against GGG for $100,000. But he forgets to mention after saying in public 168, they sent Rodriguez a contract for a catchweight of 164 with a 10 lb rehydration clause

Rodriguez explained further that not only was he dissatisfied with the terms of the fight, but he also felt frustrated about the situation in its entirety and even took a stab at what a catch weight could suggest about the confidence in Golovkin and his team.

Well, how can you bash Canelo's team for pretty much asking exactly what golovkins team was asking of ward. Also Canelo is the A side in this fight. Just like GGG was the A side for the Ward fight. They don't need GGG. GGG needs Alvarez.

These are the type of people giving GGG advice and guiding his career. It's no wonder he can't get a big fight. There is no direction for his career. Loeffler tried to use the Klitschko model, collect the belts and fight the #1 contender. I guess he never took into consideration that this isn't heavyweight, fighters can change weight classes. If you're going to try the Klitschko approach at MW you have to offer more money than anyone else. That's why Canelo is able to get fighters to fight at his weight.
