Wow, so that outstanding young champion Canelo is fighting for yet another world title?

I am sure that will impress all of the " mando doe " fans, who heavily rely upon ABC rankings to evaluate their guys opposition.

Is a champion ranked higher than a #1 contender ?

Pretty sure they are from memory

And he can also have Charlo the WBC champ whenever he wants him.

Wow, what an outstanding young man, he really does have the world at his feet.

How many champions has Canelo beaten now ? ..... I'm losing count ?

You got to love lil g fans hopping on their crusty keyboards and calling a professional boxer a coward lmao

Weren't lil G fans like "if canelo goes back down to 154 and vacated then I have no problem with that" now he does it and is fighting an established champ while you f@gs are calling cowardice lol but Dominic Wade was legit

The problem is fans want to see a fight so bad they ignore the realities of the sport.

Canelo is not the first guy to fight at one weight and rehydrate 2 or three weight classes on fight night.

              Hell, most fighters do.

For example, even as a featherweight Pacquiao regularly rehydrated to welterweight. Yet, while he was doing so no one called Manny a coward for not fighting 147 pound guys...and eventually he did move up.

              Well, so will Canelo.

When he is good and damned ready.

If the man says he is a junior middleweight, makes the weight, and fights other fighters at that weight then my guess is that is exactly what he is.

Even if some fanboys want him to be something else.

Yes and casually forgetting that Canelo said he was ready for GGG, invited GGG into the ring with him, said Mexicans dont mess around (strongly suggesting that he would fight GGG next). Only for him to relinquish the belt and drop back down in weight. He played mind games with team GGG in order to try and keep the middleweight belts and team GGG called his bluff. It's a duck regardless of how you try and spin it

Canelo and his team seem to forget that they had the Angulo @154 and Canelo couldn't make weight.

They paid Team Angulo $100k to change the limit to 155, since then Canelo never fought at 154.
