It's very difficult to come to terms with how incompetent Team BS have been throughout this whole sorry saga

Noone would've cared if Canelo had dropped the MW belt after beating Cotto but instead they gave us a circus act against Khan

Team BS then cost Canelo $8.5 million in a case which should have been settled years ago

Now Team BS are claiming that Canelo has been a JMW all along but instead of fighting one of the top guys (ALL of whom are available BTW), they serve up a bout against a largely unknown guy that barely sc****s into the top 10 on anybody's rankings.

FMD, there are kids at school with more marketing & business sense than these clowns

If, as many suspect, this is being driven by Team BS and not Canelo himself, he really needs to get someone competent in to advise him

I have been saying for awhile now... Canelo could have saved a lot of face after the cotto win by saying "I'm heading back to 154, I only came up for a lucrative fight with cotto and a chance to make history, and I'm not going to campaign there now, I'm headed back to 154 but will one day return in the future, but right now I'm headed back to 154"

No one would have blamed him, he was being honest.. The worst thing he did was stay at middleweight and fight khan, after making a verbal agreement to fight ggg in the fall, only to back out after declaring "mexicans don't **** around". It's the biggest fight in boxing and canelo walked away and looked horrible in the process..

He only fought three 154 pounders at 155. All non title fights. Cotto fight at 155 was for Cotto's benefit. Can't blame him for that. Regardless of any title nonsense, Khan fight was ridiculous at 155, and it would have still been ridiculous at 154. So criticising Canelo about fighting Khan at 155 vs 154 is a meaningless exercise.

I would get the canelo weight criticism if he was draining down full fledge middleweights to 155, but other than Khan, every fighter benefited just as much as Canelo has from fighting at 155.
