This guy even has excuses for when he under-performs in sparring.

I was told Groves handled himself well against GGG,but that was with 16 oz gloves and those ridiculous bar headguards.Groves was out of shape when they sparred,that was true.

I think Groves is one of those guys who likes a technical spar, but falls short under the lights.

Even if true, I find it ironic he went on a little tirade of excuses. "I was drinking.. also I was fat.. out of shape... and it was so high up there in the mountains.. I put myself the most difficult position...but it aint my fault tho".

But had he done damage on GGG you could imagine he would've went on and on about it regardless if it was sparring.
