That would be a good move. Fight Ramirez on Cinco de Mayo and then Canelo in September... Ramirez is no slouch. Well, let's see the signatures on the Eubank contract before we get carried away. But if things go like this, Canelo will have to step up to stay relevant. Liam Smith just won't cut it.Comment

Arum is starting to lose his marbles. So Ramirez is now a Mexican Warrior? Fans are complaining because Canelo who fought the best at 154 has not moved up to 160 and fought bigger fighters yet. But Ramirez is same age as Canelo and fought nothing but bums nowhere near the level Canelo has already beaten and just beat a old Abraham who was the worst of any of the belt holders at 168. And rather then fight any of the top guys at 168 and better world champs ALL CURRENTLY rated higher by ESPN, RING ect over him he wants to fight a smaller GGG and that makes him a warrior? Ramirez ain't even prove he's a top fighter at 168 let alone move up in weight like we are demanding Canelo when that dude is frigging 6'3 shrinking his body down to fight naturally much smaller men at 168 and now wants to fight a 160lber.
And as for his fighting in the ring he is about the furthest thing you can find from a Mexican Warrior. Dude runs in the ring and has boring fights. He's damn near the Mexican Lara. Calling this tomato can beating fool a warrior Bob? LMAOComment

Top Rank CEO Bob Arum revealed that he has had discussions with Golovkin's promoter, Tom Loeffler of K2 Promotions, and they have a tentative agreement in place to fight in the fall if both fighters keep winning and GGG fails to secure a fight against Canelo. - See more at: http://www.boxingscene.com/arum-golovkin-vs-ramirez-we-deal-principle-2017--105996#sthash.gTZLOtEp.dpufComment
