Can someone explain Brexit and it's effect on Boxing?

Yes but the effect Scotland and potentially NI leaving the UK could definitely have an effect on Wales politics as well.Well, Wales voted to leave
NI has a physical land border so its not so surprising that they voted to stay in
Scotland is the worrying place. I've already sat through 1 divisive independence referendum, and by admission, the winning side only sc****d 55%. I can't see us winning such a referendum next time..
Would you still vote to stay in the UK rather than join the EU?Comment

Why did you write a paragraph about what you're capable of telling me instead of just telling me?The last paragraph helps me know you are completely helpless. I could go into the affects of this on international trading, GNW, short and long term effects on small, national and multi-national corporations, millions of people inside and outside the UK, general sovereignty and of course the effect on the rest of the EU as well.
It also has effects on the UK and its own sovereign state as we have seen both NI and Scotland decisively voting to remain.
But someone who says their culture has been ripped apart.. I mean, just lol. I can't argue with someone like that.
It "has effects"? HAS EFFECTS? You don't say. I'm sorry I ever questioned your financial expertise.Comment

How can they be looking at the EU from one viewpoint alone if they used to be pro-EU?
I'm staggered to read that you feel you know more about the EU than some people who drew up the Constitution.
It's fine to disagree with them, but to suggest they're not educated on the subject and that they don't hold a valid opinion is mind-boggling and objectively doesn't hold any water.Comment

Whether or not they are educated on the EU should be portrayed in the way they report it and try to educate the people. How can they be looking at the EU from one viewpoint alone if they used to be pro-EU?

Saying a financial plummet would be highly improbable shows exactly what kind of education they have. You can agree or disagree with that, the facts speak for themselves.Comment

I'm British and would vote to stay part of the UK. But even i'm starting to question it slightly now, simply because England (and Wales), in practice, has voted for us. One of the arguments on the leave side was that democracy is tainted if others are making our decisions.
Scotland would vote to leave, I can almost assure it. If old Nicola doesn't have the stomach to front another referendum campaign, she should campaign for a federal Britain where Scotland can make its own arrangements with the EU.Comment

I think from the most recent news it seems like she understands that Scotland would probably need another referendum before long. This has clearly gone against the Scottish wish, and in that, kind of going against what the UK are fighting for.I'm British and would vote to stay part of the UK. Yeah I doubt the latter will happen though.Comment

They will, but in good time. We can't base anything off this kneejerk stuff we're seeing at the moment.Whether or not they are educated on the EU should be portrayed in the way they report it and try to educate the people.

There were legitimate arguments on both sides, the truth is no one can predict the next few years. We'll just have to let it play out.Comment
