    Is Mayweather ducking Margarito?

What do you guys think? Personally I say no for now, but if he isn't able to make a fight with De La Hoya for whatever reason and then he still won't fight Margarito I would change my opinion and say he is ducking him.

I am suprised that so many people believe this. I dont see why Floyd would feel the need to duck Margarito. However, at the same time, I dont know why he wouldnt take the 6 million or whatever he was going to get, and fight him, because I think he can beat Margarito fairly handily.

It's sort of an odd situation. I don't think Floyd is afraid of Margarito and he thinks he can beat him... as do I. However, I'm not sure why he wouldn't take the fight given the amount of money he was offered.

I wouldn't say ducking him because I don't think Floyd would truly duck any fighter.

However, for him to so openly dismiss Margarito and then turn down his biggest payday ever against him is kind of wack.

The only way this is acceptable is if De La Hoya wins and Mayweather/DLH is made.

If in Mayweathers next bout he fights anyone other than De La Hoya or Hatton then he is ducking Margarito.

very true so i hope he does fight 1 of them. the pressure is on for him especially if he says that he needs some warmup fights before fighting dlh or hatton. then ppl will say how come u jus didnt fight margarito since to u it would be a easy fight
