Which just so happens to line up when there was a major shift in PBC with Haymon canceling tons of PBC shows and putting his B and C class fighters as headliners of these cards instead of the A list fighters. Which is why people complain about PBC looking like a hot mess with no rhyme or reason. Early last year you would never of seen haymon use one of his prime time NBC cards for a bum like Fonfara.

That's a long list of fighters who are more inactive now then at any point in their career yet there is nothing to see it has nothing to do with the failures of PBC?

And yup not confusing at all when a guy like Jacobs has his biggest win of his career in a Dec fight that doesn't go 1 round and he suffers no injury and he has yet to fight in 2016 and his next fight was canceled/postponed with PBC giving no information other then he MIGHT fight in Sept.

And of course none of this has to do with the fact that PBC burned through too much money last year and can barely afford to pay for Haymon top fighters to be on these PBC cards. That can't be it instead there is some business strategy genius to having a bum like Fonfara headline prime time NBC instead. And why guys like Beterbiev now headline ESPN prime time cards INSTEAD of the A list stars that headlined these same cards a year ago? But go head give us the horse shyt excuse? And please continue telling us everything is going GREAT for PBC despite the facts that NBC just posted their alltime lowest PBC tv ratings and EACH card since the debut a year and half ago has gotten worse ratings then the one before. ESPN sat prime time ratings are now HALF of the LOWEST sat prime time ratings from last year.
Done driving so Here you go fa.got first off let me just say you harp on about Jacibs being on a 6-7 month layoff but he'll be fighting in a month or so and he's getting replaced for Mimey Garcias comeback fight way better then a unneeded Jacobs / Mora 2

As far as Omar fig if you watched his post fight against Demarco you'd probably realize he needs a long break I said at the time I don't even know if he returns at all. Really Alexander the guys been basically on a 3/4 losing streak he not relevent. After getting beat down enough times you probably need to reasses thing like Matthysse who hasn't fought since the beginning of Oct. But I bet you'll never critique that or his layoff.

Never said everythings rosy with PBC and there's lots of valid complaints , but saying their stalling their fighters careers and that they aren't have their best now starting to fight their best isn't one of them, just not acting like a h.oe like you and just pretending like its doomsday all this boxing for fans is such a bad thing because the goods are over on Ring TV streams right.

So here's the list of #of times HBo associated fighters have fought from June 23 a year to the date

    Postol 1
    Donaire - 3 ( none on HBo
    Fran Vargas - 2 / 1 PPV
    Ortiz -3 ( 1 off HBo )
Canelo - 2 both on PPV
    Crawford -2
    Loma - 2
    GGG - 2 / 1 PPV
    Kov - 2
    Bradley - 3 / 1 on PPV
    Rios - 1
    Chocolatito - 2 / 1 on PPV
    Walters - 1
    Benevidez - 1 ( not on HBo )

    Now compare to PBC

    Garcia -2
    Lara -2
    Broner 2 ( 3 if you include June 20 )
    Barthemly 2( 3 if you include June 21 )
Mares -1 ( had 2 fights cancelled in that span )
    LSC - 2
    Jack-2 /1 PPV
    Degeale2
    Thurman 1- 1 fight rescheduled
Porter -0 / had fight rescheduled
    Wilder 2 ( 3 if you include June 13 )
    Adonis 1
    Lamont -1
    Spence - 3 ( 4 if include June 20 )
    Fonfara -2
    glowski -2
    Charlo's 3&2
    Quillen-2
    Jacobs -2
    Vasquez 2 ( 3 if you include June 21)

it's still about the same if not more for the PBc fighters but keep changing the date maybe it'll work for you. Your argument doesn't hold weight. But continue to cry and moan about whatever else you want to b.itch about

But yeah PBC stalling their careers by giving their fighters just as many opportunities if not more and on bigger platforms. Fu.ck you Al Haymon

This is another entry in a long list of blog posts and twitter/message board comments from someone who doesn't know a damn thing about operating a business, let alone a boxing business. Like all the others, this blogger is trying to tell someone who has made millions of dollars in the boxing profession and 100s of millions in his business career how to conduct his business.

Al Haymon knows exactly what he is doing and there is no doubt in my mind that his PBC venture will be successful. When it does prove to be successful, none of the clowns who have predicted its doom will acknowledge what idiots they are or how little they actually knew.

This blogger is trying to convince the dumb and gullible that boxers making more money than they ever made in their careers and ever dreamed of making is a bad thing. He is trying to convince the nitwits that showing more boxing on television is actually going to hurt or destroy the sport.

Top Rank, Golden Boy, Duva Boxing, Dibella Entertainmment, HBO and Showtime were force feeding us mismatches on a regular basis long before PBC came along. Since PBC started, these promoters and networks have continued to give us one mismatch and one boring fight after another.

PBC is good for boxing and will continue to be good for boxing for years to come.

So still no answer for why so many of Haymon top fighters are less active basically fighting once year? Brought up 2 names and gave BS excuses for both. And no clue why your fa ggot azz is posting about HBO when most of them fools don't even have a contact with HBO and none of those promoters were given 500 million dollars and the resources Haymon got. My point is simple you don't need to look at HBO or any other promoter Haymon top fighters BEFORE PBC were fighting more times a year. And now since PBC are ACTUALLY fighting less. DESPITE the fact that Haymon just last year paid tens of millions for air time across a half dozen different networks and had 500 million to work with. I already gave you a list of fighters who are all in the middle of career long layoffs. So if Haymon has all these guys UNDER contract and has all these network prepaid air time why the F are they actually fighting LESS today then they did prior to PBC? Stop bringing up HBO and answer the question you haymon ****ing sucking bytch.

And I'll take it one step further you tell me which top fighter Haymon had BEFORE PBC who has seen his career take off because he's been featured on PBC? I'll wait. All his star fighters he had before their careers have mostly either stalled or are going backwards becoming less relevant because of bad mismatches or long periods of inactivity. These dudes are going back to Showtime and pulling HALF the TV ratings they had before they went to PBC. Wilder drew 1.2m viewers last Jan on Showtime. Goes to PBC for a few fights comes back and earlier this year drew just 500k viewers on Showtime. And if Haymon didn't burn through all his money so quickly then maybe these fools wouldn't be so inactive and NBC prime time cards would feature his better fighters instead of bums like Fonfara.

A boxing outfit willing to go out on a limb and give more access to fans with a chance of growing the sport is hurting it. Is this for real ?

No one was cheering when Lara / Zavexk got made but that garbage fight on ESPN was a better match up then anything FNF put on in how long. My bad the historic fight of Monroe / Vera was the stuff that makes legends, it gave Willie a chance to get destroyed against Gennady

Has one writer written on the public Executions that happen on HBO. I mean I know everyone stopped what they were doing to watch the epic match ups of
          GGG / Wade
          GGG / Monroe
          Kovalev / French Plumber
          Crawford / Jean
          Crawford / Lundy
          Ortiz / Thompson
Verdejo / anyone he's faced on HBO
Mayfield / forget the guys name
Chocolito / Anyone he's faced on HBo

Literally HBo serves up 75% sh.it unless it's PPV but it's just crickets like what upcoming fights have they announced
Ward / Brand = Birderline garbage
          Kov / Chilemba = Decent
          Fury / Klit = Good

their only great fight is PPV in Postol / Crawford

This is one of the problem with boxing , is the media they love to tear it down You wouldn't read any of this deprecating writing in the UFC, NBA, NHL with the reporters that cover the sport

Not saying the PBc is above critique , obviously some match ups suck balls, a more consistent schedule would Probably help, The production team could use some work but F.uck at least their trying to give fans competitive fights on a accessible platform.

this guy is pissed that the pbc is getting criticism

PBC has gotten 2 high level execs fired from ESPN and now NBC. you can't point to one fighter that has taken off because of his exposure on PBC, the TV ratings have been terrible and trending worse. You got PBC's own investors suing them because they lost all their money. When boxinscene writers who have been pro PBC throughout this entire mess finally come out and criticize what's going on you know it's bad.

There are no world champions in UFC
I mean I guess this is right even doe my next comment will qualify why you are right in a way & wrong in a way.

The best MMA fighters don't fight the best MMA fighters because promotional outfits don't cross promote
This is just outright wrong. Okay sure the UFC doesn't have 100% of all fighters under their umbrella, but of the say top 700 MMA guys in the world the UFC has 550+ of them under contract at any given time. I'm sure the MLB or the NBA don't have 100% of the best baseball & basketball players in the world either, but you can't really say the MLB & the NBA isn't the best playing vs the best.

Having that extremely high level of the top talent is going to lead to the best fighting the best way more often than anyone else is capable of doing. And at the top they even got a better percentage of the top guys. Go look at a indie ranking sight like Fight Matrix (basically the boxrec of MMA with its computer rankings) & you'll see that the UFC usually has the top 10 on lock & have most of the top 20 on lock in the more interesting divisions.

MMA is more fractured than boxing.
I don't see how. Like I said the UFC probably has 550+ of the top 700 MMA guys in the world under contract. What boxing entity has the top 78% of the top talent on lock? I think Haymon only has under 60% of the top ten indie ranked guys with him or one of his "sham" (lol) promoters.

Ali Act will make UFC adhere to the same rules as boxing. And they will encounter the same problems as boxing.
The Ali Act for MMA will never get passed first off or at least as its currently written with just a flip of the words MMA for boxing in the actual document. Some of the biggest problems with MMA are they have tried to pass on boxing rules & regulations over to MMA cuz its just been cost effective to bring boxing rules over to MMA than to create a whole new state MMA commission in every state to contend with the unique issues with MMA that don't apply in boxing. How the Ali Act for MMA has gotten as far as it has in public discourse is a testament to how a group of butthurt former UFC fighters who are currently suing the UFC have successfully networked with the right people more than it has any teeth.

And thats not to say there shouldn't be an Ali Act-like law for MMA or a fighters union &/or other things like that for fighters to be protected, but the current Ali Act is a horrible document for MMA for how the sport operates today. The Ali Act as written and put into play into MMA would leave MMA looking in as dire straights as boxing is today in the US with everyone out for themselves just as far as they can see & no one looking out for the greater good of MMA like the UFC does (even if you & I can both agree, I'm sure, they aren't perfect by any means).
