When was the last time someone called Andre Ward out?

I've followed his career since the olympics and the only fighter I can think of that was open about fighting him was someone he already defeated.....Carl Froch

He was inactive a long time so you think someone would have jumped at the chance at facing a "rusty" WARD

Ward isn't the most popular but everyone appreciates his skill and ability

Im disappointed he is fighting a guy like Brand, Ive never seen him fight to be honest. I know Badou Jack said it was hard to look good against him


Most people think punchers are the guys that are ducked but fighters who make you look bad and arent big $$$$ fighters get avoided, ducked or whatever term you prefer

its hard to call out ward.

you know there are certain disadvantageous prerequisites right off the bat if you want a fight with ward.

money advantage his.
fight in oakland.
his weight class.

ward's talent is pretty visible and he has the resume to back it up. Ward is HIGH RISK, LOW REWARD.

if you are a boxer who is lesser, why even bother?

I'm pretty sure if he were to be the #1 guy with all the belts, people would go after him. He's not a draw so that's the only option.

DeGale called him out prior to winning the belt and shortly thereafter, but that is the only guy recently that I can think of.

Oh ok...I do remember Degale being interviewed and asked about Ward....I dont recall if he was saying at 168 or after he cleaned out there at 175
