And if Kovalev wins by UD what will you say?

I'm a fan of both and I'm feeling fishy about this fight. Ward fighting a complete nobody from smw to prepare himself for the most dangerous/fluid power puncher in the sport?

Barrera is slow as molasses and he tagged Ward a few times.. This worries me because Kovalev that night would of ended it pretty fast
Depends what happens in the fight but it wouldn't be a surprise. Kov is favored to win I believe.

Ward hasn't fought at 168 in 3 years. If 168 was still his best fighting weight, he wouldn't be at 175 now.

Hbo told him there were no fights for him at 168.

I think it's a 50/50 fight. I'm a fan of both. I think the bigger question is what will Kovalev fans say or think of Ward IF HE WINS.

The prejudice towards minority fighters have been running rampant since GGG, Kovalev, and Loma stepped on the scene (in recent years).

And, yes, I consider a 50year old man and Jean "I had one good win 6 years ago" Pascal to be mediocre comp. I do consider Kovalev to be far above the level of the comp he's faced and this is close to a 50/50 fight. However, it's extraordinary how people have hammered Ward for recently facing guys just as bad as Kovalev's best comp. Hell, he takes crap for shutting out Kovalev's mandatory. I wish BOTH these fkers were fighting better guys because Ward and Kovalev are the two best fighters in the world, IMO.
Kovalev beat champions in his division and owns 3 of the 4 available belts.

Ward had had better opposition though...smh.

Nothing. We are fully aware of how good and talented Ward is. In fact I'm on wards side a bit, would love to see someone outbox a monster like Kovalev.. Something no one could do.

I just don't think Ward can go all 12, Kovalev is a machine and can throw all 12 rounds 24/7 and with that kind of power combined with pinpoint accuracy it's lights out

It seems people on ward's side are underrating how good Kovalev really is. The man is fluid, fast, powerful, great ring IQ, and a can take punishment.

Put it this way: Whoever wins, there will plenty of crying from the fans of the loser. However, not every fan of the loser will cry, many will give the due credit. Not all fans are the same.

I'm more of a Kovalev fan than a Ward fan, but I'm actually picking Ward to win by a decisive 8-4 UD.
