So what do you think of Rigo's legacy now?

Since beating Donaire, Rigo decided to just not fight good opponents anymore. In fact, he decided that his opponents had to be absolutely horrible from now on. And they still turned out to take him the distance and knock him down... Rigo is old and I think we should just call this the end of his career, there is likely nothing of relevance coming up. So, what do you think of his legacy?

Personally, I see him getting forgotten very fast... He's almost forgotten already. To think that someone considered him P4P #1...

Donaire was a P4P number 3 fighter. Your coward Golovkin has never fought a p4p fighter you bigot.

Well after he beat donaire no one in his weight class wanted to fight him. He just cant get those big fights because no one really wants to risk it. hes a great figthter but will probably retire with an underwhelming pro career

Not much of a legacy. His pro career hasn't even been that spectacular either, apart form a good win over Donaire who was on the slide anyway.

He just doesn't bring anything to the table financially, too high risk-low reward for the other champions.

He doesn't even help himself either. He was given a good slot on the Canelo v Cotto undercard to show a big audience what he's about, and he stunk the place out.

The fact is he's 35, pretty inactive and no signs of things picking up for him. Also, naturally he'll probably be in decline soon due to his age so he might even lose some fights if he finally gets them against good opposition.

he should have gone up in weight.

he should have gone up to featherweight.

if he was such a boxing god, go up to featherweight where there are money guys.

On the slide? He was the reigning fighter of the year and had just come of a run of wins to rival almost any fighter in recent years. He hasn't been the same fighter since but that was a legit great win by Rigo.
