I cant think of any top 15-20 lightheavies available or willing to fight Ward on short notice...can you
What about Nadjib Mohammedi. Last fight in April. Has 2 losses since and fought Kova, so has nothing going..

Or Vyacheslav Shabranskyy, Ukraine, no losses, last since April, or Umar Salamov, Russia, no losses, 2 months ago? Tall dudes with reach. Not that far in reach or height from Barrera, plus Euro fighters. Some dynamic work both physically and mentally before Kova.

Against who ? ... Pascal is at a stage of his career where his name and reputation will gather the crowds anyway ... I don't think he truly believes he can be at the top again... Warm up fights for top opponents are still on the radar though ...

Rafael said Skoglund is Ward's likely opponent first weekend in August

I think Pascal needs a soft touch next up...look at who the guy has fought the last 5 or so years....Kov, Hopkins, Dawson, Froch, etc.

Thinking about the guys health and with his lack of fundamental defense he would get mugged by Ward

sorry but that guy got lucky.

No head movement, slow on his feet. Watch the fight again.

Anyone would be acceptable as long as the fight with Kov in November still happens

Fonfara was recognized by most people as a good opponent for Kovalev. The guy who stopped Fonfara in one round should obviously be acceptable for Ward.
