Egypt isn't even one of the most prosperous countries in africa today. Historically their has been larger and stronger civilizations in Africa. There have been other empires that had greater influence. Greeks and Romans loved Kemet(egypt was one of the few great civilizations they close to geographically) and looked up to their teachings, religions, customs, etc. Thats why the stole it..
