I'm giving odds if this fight does get made..Sr throws in the towel. I like Chris, he has great potential but he's not quite there yet imo. He couldn't stop BJS highly highly doubt he has the power to make Golovkin respect him.Comment

I know you don't want to seem like a ggg hater and try to be objective but look at this article.Ggg fans have been consistently dismissive of this and I think it's because they like to claim that no one wants to fight him. The Eubanks have a lot of pride and I don't doubt Chris would take him this fall. As I've said before, if he fights on HBO in America, even a loss will help him so long as he gives a good fight. If he's insistent on it being in the UK, I doubt it happens.

He says he'll fight him tomorrow then in the same interview he says this
"I really believe I'll be in the ring fighting for a world title towards the end of this year. I need to get a couple more fights, defend the British belt a few times, then jump in there and win myself a [world] title belt."
That's me quoting what he said in the same interview. Does it sound like he wants ggg next?Comment

Contradiction is rife in this sport (need I remind you of ggg wanting Ward, then suddenly not). If his manager says he's negotiating it, I'm fine saying let's see what happens. It's transparent when people vehemently deny that anyone ever wants to fight Golovkin. They're acting like ill-behaved children. If nothing comes of this in a month, then by all means, say what you will about Eubank. Until then, why can't we just see how it unfolds? Why do the hardcores act like apes throwing shyt?I know you don't want to seem like a ggg hater and try to be objective but look at this article.
Chris Eubank Jr. is offended that people are calling Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin (35-0, 32KOs) the best middleweight fighter in the sport. Golovkin, recognized as one of the best pound-for-pound fighters in the sport, holds the WBA, IBF, IBO and WBC middleweight world titles.

It all comes down to the conditions that Jr sets in negotiations. If he plays the A-side role bs, then I'll know he wasn't serious about the fight. These fighters are difficult because they want more money than the champion. Makes you wonder. But like I said before (insert Floyd gif here) let's wait to see what happens, let's wait to see which is jr's next opponent...Comment

The most interesting thing to me is what was mentioned previously about the fight happening in the UK. I would call BS if they demand that. Asking for it is just part of the game but if it's a deal-breaker then it's BS on Eubank's side. Were he a major title holder and a huge UK draw, maybe, but Golovkin is the man at MW and you can't expect him to take his belts to the UK for a guy who isn't offering much more than a name (and not a big name)It all comes down to the conditions that Jr sets in negotiations.
