How can you duck someone you haven't had a chance to fight yet? Canelo fought last month. The fight hasn't even come to fruition for 6 months...

If Canelo doesn't fight Gennady within the next couple fights you can say "He ducked him." Right now it just makes people look desperate, immature, and down right uneducated.

It's pretty much part for the course for Golovkin fans because they're frustrated with his stagnant career and they want to blame everyone but him and his team of lackeys for it.

I never was interested in blaming somebody for the reason why Ward/Golovkin, Canelo/Golovkin, Kovalev/Stevenson or Loma/Rigo or Walters fights not happening. These fights aren't going to happen soon and that's all I need to know, that's it. I don't care about the reasons.

Because I understand that it's a big money and a lot of people involved behind closed doors. But all these boxing fans who's calling other boxers "ducks" getting on my nerves. Canelo held the 160 pound title so yes it was a duck. He wasn't fighting at 154 at the time.. Just because he made his own catchweight division of 155 is not an excuse.

The hardcore Golovkin crowd seems like a pretty gutless bunch in general. I've never seen a another fanbase act so insecure, aggressive, disrespectful to professional fighters, and show themselves to be generally uneducated about the sport.

There's a few ggg fans that are thoughtful and composed. They can hold a conversation about fighters other than Golovkin too. Good forum members. You rarely see them talking shyt. Sadly, they're drowned out by a crew of attack chihuahuas that swarm threads like these.

I've said the same thing about Golovkin, I don't like that a lot of people calling him duck because of Ward or Lara, or blaming other boxers for ducking. And I'm not even interested in Canelo boxing career, but I've mentioned his name only because he's the most vivid example of what I was talking about in the thread
