Why you call Canelo a duck like he's the one who's in charge, not Oscar De La Hoya? Is it that big of a secret that all these boxers have their own bosses, and they're just workers under a contract?

Oscar makes his own boy look ******, just like Tom Loeffler and Abel Sanchez makes Golovkin look ****** with all their comments of Golovkin being the best thing in boxing.

Just stop calling other boxers "ducks", in most cases they're not even responsible for the fact that some big fights not happening

And don't act like if you weren't Oscal you wouldn't do the same thing. You'd call that a smart business decision, because Oscar knows what's up, he realizes that his biggest cash cow have almost no chances against Golovkin

I never was interested in blaming somebody for the reason why Ward/Golovkin, Canelo/Golovkin, Kovalev/Stevenson or Loma/Rigo or Walters fights not happening. These fights aren't going to happen soon and that's all I need to know, that's it. I don't care about the reasons.

Because I understand that it's a big money and a lot of people involved behind closed doors. But all these boxing fans who's calling other boxers "ducks" getting on my nerves. Oh, mother****ers, you have some weight in pro boxing industry or you're connected with Al Haymor or Bob Arum? If not, how the **** you can blame someone for ducking if you don't know the reasons behind that for sure. They say Canelo, Kovalev, Lomachenko, Walters, Ward are ducks, you know, you need to get the **** out of here. 90% of these boxers would leave bruises on your face if you were brave enough to call them ducks in front of their faces

Stop calling boxers other boxers ducks so easily, be logical and intelligent, we all know that they're not in the charge and it's not up to them to decide why certain fights are not happening

Candelita is a coward for real. Unless she holds a 15 pound weight advantage on fight night, she wants no parts of it.

Canelo is either a blatant duck or he's a brainless puppet who does everything De La Hoya and Golden Boy wants him to do. Either way, he deserves to be criticized.
      This is true.

A year of mismatches, ****** awful fights and when we get one done (Porter vs Thurman) we jump like it is the 2nd coming of the Lord.
Isn't this what should be happening every other Saturday, big good fights?

Instead we stay watching, hoping, claiming for ONE good fight in 2016.

And Canelo was all mouth and balls and fights way over the 160 limit when he enters the ring, he just drains himself to be able to fight lesser, smaller opposition.

They should not let him, but i hope one of those smaller guys hit him good and sends him to sleep one day.

Coward, and i was a fan of his, not anymore.

Hey OP, sometimes a duck is just that, a duck.....

When you call someone in the ring and tell them you're ready right then and there and then you drop your title claiming time constraints when you practically own the WBC it's just ridiculous... The fact. That the kid comes in at 173-175 on fight night yet he fights guys who just moved up to welterweight is also ridiculous.

I like Canelo, I rooted for him against Cotto thinking if he won he'd fight GGG based on his past but this is a big letdown so far...I think the fight will happen but why should GGG drop to 155 when he'll be fighting a guy who outweighs him on fight night...fk that...

To answer you're question g27region from what I have noted the past few years down to how the attitudes have changed and shifted towards alvarez is a lot off boxing fans have in the past not really liked him all that much..

From past years they used to assume he was avoiding guys like Trout, Lara, Angulo etc or Cotto and when he beat those guys they were not all that happy as they wanted to see him fail but that did not happen except for the Floyd Mayweather Jr fight.

In the past and present he has been under fire and accused off avoiding certain fighters which he later faced off against and beat sometimes under controversial decisions (Lara fight for example though I personally am happy he won that one but a lot off boxing fans feel different).

There is also Golovkin a lot off people are giving him stick or saying he is avoiding a fight with him, that and also the whole Catch weight thing he does in some fights rubs a lot off people the wrong way..

Other reasons hmmm I'm not sure to be honest maybe some just dislike everything about him or find an excuse could even be something he said or did I don't know..

I like the guy anyway as a fighter I think he is decent and has come a long way in progress..

He brought GGG into the ring and said Mexicans don't **** around. What are you talking about, he brought this on himself.

And the same goes for Ward and GGG, again, they didn't duck each other because they were in different weight classes.

Ward - at the time 168 (now 175) fighter
                GGG - 160 fighter
                Canelo - 154 fighter

Canelo held the 160 pound title so yes it was a duck. He wasn't fighting at 154 at the time.. Just because he made his own catchweight division of 155 is not an excuse.

Yeah, it's 3 pages already and there's no single post that would be related to the topic I've wanted to discuss, only some bull**** messages about Canelo and Golovkin. I've had to choose the different name for the thread but I didn't expect people here to be that ******ed
Show me the post where I called them ducks.
