It is possible in the future because by this time next year, Arum will run out of Top Rank fighters and soup cans to pit against these two that HBO will pay for. So, Crawford/Lomachenko will be a necessity, not an option, for Top Rank in 2018.

crawford is too much of a big dog for lomo..
much taller and knows how to turn up the heat..knows how to move his feet so lomo wont be able to just hop all around him. lomo's style i think only goes so far in the pros..a great jab can disrupt all of his movement..a great mental thinker can change range and levels..he reminds me a lot like the style i fight in fight night with lots of pivots...but if u have an opponent that pivots just as well the shots are not there...salido took it away people.

but it i think u have to be careful with lomo's career to even get him that far..u have to fast track it bc walters might move to 40 and u also have to give lomo fights with flat footed men..so if we do get this fight understand we are sacrificing many high level fights bc lomo wont be able to keep winning in bob's opinion..

Just shut up Bob. Just because Haymon is worse than you and Floyd ducked Manny doesn't mean you're not also full of ****. Best performance since Ali lol? He said that same **** about Pacquiao after beating Cotto, and that was legitimate. That was the crescendo of Pacquiao's all-time run through the weight divisions and he outboxed and beat up Cotto the way no one has before or since. That was truly a spectacular performance to put a cap on a spectacular few years by Pacquiao.

But Lomachenko? He just knocked out an average fighter. The fight didn't even go on long enough for it to be an all-time great performance.

I would love to see Loma-Crawford though. Crawford would have a big size advantage but boxing needs more intriguing fights. Loma always has a chance because of his speed and boxing. That would be a great fight. They're only 10 pounds apart right now, that's not a gap too large to bridge. Loma will be at 135 soon, Crawford at 147. Then Loma can go up 6, Crawford down 6, fight at 141.

also, gamboa is too irresponsible defensively, he was doing very well in the beginning in that fight

Maybe but I doubt it. Lomachenko looks like a 140 fighter max and that might not be for a few years. Not sure if Crawford stays at 140 for long.

Weight wise, Bud and Loma are just too far apart so I doubt that fight ever happens. Loma hits his weight limit at around 135 maybe 140.

LomaVSWalters is the fight to make.
