  • The Truth Is, Alvarez will neutralize that "Jab!" from Golovkin

What is Lil'G's strategy against Alvarez? Do people ever talk about a gameplan?

Doug Fischer said these two goons went at it in sparring and was impressed by both, this was even before Alvarez fought Mayweather. The kid has accelerated since, and Golovkin isn't getting any older...

Alvarez flicked off Khan's jabs literally. Alvarez is known for tilting back / reflexes on jabs. Alvarez is faster than Golovkin. How is Abel going to train Golovkin in preparing with counter attacks? Stevens has played with both, and Stevens states Alvarez can beat him. Do we assume Alvarez will receive the same range shots landed on Stevens or as durable or even the same ring IQ?

Canelo counters well off the jab. Fought off of Cotto's well, knocked down Trout, knocked out Khan, etc. The jab will likely be neutralized and will work off of it the problem will br the times it does land..it's heavy..even if he counters or avoids 75% that's still 25% coming from a strong jab. GGG is probably going to take some helacious counters so this is going to be about who takes MORE of the other's and adjusts. Canelo has more to his game but GGG has the power and body work. Canelo is better inside. Beter reflexes, etc

Cannelo already neutralized GGG's jab by avoiding the fight altogether. Now THAT'S strategy!!

If Canelo beats GGG it will be because he was slipping the jab, getting inside, doing some good inside work, turning and rinse and repeat. If Canelo tries to work from the outside by countering GGG's jab, it will be a short night for Canelo.

GGG fans dont have a strategy . They just think their god will just knock him out with the first punch. They dont understand styles make fights and canelo style works best with someone coming at him . When this fight happen they will quickly see that GGG will not have an answer for canelos counters and especially if canelo counters hard to the body.

Yeah because GGG only relies on his jab. Forget his timing, punch selection, ability to cut the ring, ring IQ,and power. Heck if he's so outgunned i wonder why GGG is the one searching to get the fight done and Canelito dumped the belt to avoid his best prizefight at the moment.

Canelo has faced way better jabs, faster fighters, and skilled technicians that make GGG look like a slow basic brute. He is not outboxing canelo when other more skilled jabbers couldn't. GGG if he is going to win is going to out slug Canelo. If it's a chess match and a boxing match Canelo is more skilled and will win. He has better defense, faster hands, better counterpuncher, and just more slick. GGG is stronger and will look to stalk and take Canelo out. If he's hoping to jab and win that way he will lose. Cotto tried that and ended up missing 500 of the punches he threw because Canelo slipped and blocked most of them and countered. Canelo has neutralized better jabs then GGG's.

Hate makes people blind. If you ever seen a ggg fight you wouldn't be asking dumb ass questions. Golovokin is the second coming of the great Chavez Sr his combos are insane every punch holds weight .
