Why be petty...90% of the info is true...HBO n boxing was life for me in the late 90s early 2000s...all the stuff he talked about I witnessed live... I was in middle school n high school then...he wanted hamed back then..merchant said it won't happen even SD he'll never reach odlh level...really?after the man wins a big fight.

HBO had it out for Jones n Floyd back then...Roy was his own promo n Floyd looked at how he went through the ringer
      ..learned from it
      They offered hamed big money

Honestly, he didn't tell me anything I didn't already know. I've been following boxing for a long time.

I hear ya, I think it was cool that someone like us who has followed the sport longer than 3 years gave a retrospective on things for the newbies.

People think Mayweather came in the game a cash cow, called shots and was a cherrypicker, you know the rest but he was really brought along fast and tough.

HBO didnt really promote him well and often criticized him after great performances,

I'd be like WTF Jim? Larry come on? More times than not though Jones, Lennox, and Foreman would correct their trolls and misinformation

never saw a fighter get treated like that the company he has a contract to fight on as a feature fighter. Well they had other stars they invested in moreso go figure

I knew most of the info he gave but I think its a nice retrospective for fans on the site who didnt follow the sport back then

in the early 2000s, Mayweather was beginning to see that people he thought that were lesser fighters were getting paid better and being promoted better than he was.

im glad he knew his worth.

I remember them making all those excuses for Corrales. I was so shocked he got dominated in such a way considering how talented he was.

This fight right here put the stamp on for me that floyd was truely special. I watched nearly every fight after live.

around 2005, I was like who can beat this guy? never thought he'd stay undefeated until 2015....yikes.

No. Both are equally important. Otherwise the message is lost.

It's a pre-recorded video. There's simply no excuse for not preparing in advance or at least editing out your dead spots. If you know you're not a good talker and not able to just flow off the top, don't try.

Can some post a run down of what he said. I cannot bear to listen to his voice. Didn't people teach their children to talk with clapping.
