Yea, I'd be a bit depressed too. So would you. As long as he pulls it back together, that's what matters.
Yeah, there has to be some kind of natural depression when you're trying to amp yourself up for the biggest fight of your career, only to have it fall through the week of, when his intensity and readiness would have been at its peak. It's unavoidable. We've all felt the same at some point.

I can understand him being 'disappointed'.

Maybe the term 'depression' is being thrown about about too easily by Wilder.

Its all part of being a professional at the end of the day.

The upside is that he can add another bum to his resume instead of getting robbed in Russia, or KTFO.

You sure like your conspiracy theories don't you? I suppose you post on infowars.com & believe that we're all secretly ruled by the lizard people.

        Laughable.

I'm pretty sure that any of you here posting crap would be pretty depressed if you just watched 4.6 million go out the door because of someone else's mistake. What happens if he gets beat by Arreola. He may never seen another purse like that. A lot of posters here defending Povetkin is pretty pathetic...

Just heard on sports radio the decision if the Russian team will be allowed in the olympics. Russian secret service trying to intimidate WADA members, etc. They are so corrupt & shady. These tactics are the only reason Povetkin decision is still under investigation. The russian mob & secret service are trying to bully WADA. It's time to step up & shut them down. The russians gave it away after Rocky 4. It has been proven that all Russian athletes are dirty cheaters. At the end of the day they always get caught...

Difference is one guy did his time and I even said Ortiz should've been banned for years, right along with Povetkin, Guillermo Jones, Mosley,Margarito and etc.!!!!

The guy was caught and still claiming innocence!! I was hoping they allowed the fight so Wilder can punish the cheat since I had money on Povetkin!!

It's why I said Ortiz (a man who did his time) should be VADA tested!

Both guys are cheaters and IMO which makes guys like Stiverne and Arreola look better for not depending on that ****!
people posted thousands of threads about vitamin c, but for some reason are looking for every excuse in the book for pov... smh

Yes, Wilder ducked so reluctantly, and is so depressed about ducking... Can't you all tell?

Nandrolone, the drug Ortiz was busted for, is a natural horse hormone and was injected into horses to aid in recovery (sound familiar?). And it wasn't illegal because well, no one knew that athletes were using it. Once that was discovered, it was classified as a performance enhancer.

Same thing with this meldonium. Perfectly legal until they discovered athletes were using it for their own recovery and definitely not for some heart condition they had.

Who cares if it was only considered illegal recently? They were all hiding their use until they got caught and when your team admits that you had been using it without anyone's knowledge before it was considered illegal, I think people are well within reason to think you were a long-time cheater.
I see wilder saying he will go to cuba to fight Ortiz then haymon pays off vada again so Ortiz tests "positive" fight canceled and wilder tries again to get full pay. I said HW's will be a circus and a disaster after the Klit bros were gone and it is
