The kid is only 25 and has has yet to reach his prime yrs. there's no reason for Oscar to throw him in there with lil G just to satisfy the Golovtards out there. Let Canelo grow some more and fight a Lemieux or Saunders both of whom would be solid competition for him.
    youre right and youre wrong:

You're right people do want to see Nelo vs. Lil G

Youre wrong, Canelo himself said he was ready for whoever. Hhad GGG come to the ring, and all this talk about "we dont **** around" , he was ready to fight GGG right after Khan bla blah blah.. and two weeks later what happens? he drops his title and is basically ****ing around. rumored to fight liam smith..smh

Canelo did it to himself. it wasnt Oscar in there talking all that macho ****.

Gomez: Oh that? Yeah it was nothing, just had to a pay a little of Oscar's money and we're good now.
      Loeffler: Good to hear Eric!
      Gomez: Thanks!
Loeffler: So ah, Canelo is free to fight?
      Gomez: Hell yeah brotha!
Loeffler: Cool, cool. Lookin to fight in September yeah?
Gomez: That's the plan man! Big time PPV
Loeffler: Awesome! Hey I was wondering if it would be cool to have him fight Golovkin?
      Gomez: In September?
      Loeffler: Right!
      Gomez: September of this year?
      Loeffler: Yes!
      Gomez: Can't do it.
Gomez: The thing is, Oscar feels we need a stay busy fight, a tune up so to speak, since Nelo had to sit in a chair in court for so long, ya know? Could have tightened up his back so we got to make sure he feels healthy. So we gotta do that first, you know, maybe a guy like Rosado you just had a big win. Mexico vs Puerto Rico!

You do realize team Lil G talk out of ther @zz as well didn't they say anyone from 154-168lbs but then when Lara n Ward come knocking Lil G comes up with excuses not to fight them. So I'll give Nelo a pass seeing how you give Lil g a pass for not fighting either of the two guys I mention above

In Oscarese talks continuing means calling Tommy L at 3:47am and hanging up after 1 and a half rings then immediately faxing Liam Smith a contract.

              These guys actually think that.

They actually think that Canelo owes them something, and that he needs to be loyal to Golovkin LMAO

lil'G owes me for FOUR YEARS of broken promises

I'll admit, I'm not nearly as locked in to the outta the ring stuff as a lotta the regulars on this site. I had no clue that this lawsuit thing was as big a deal as it was.

Now knowing how big a issue it was. An $8M issue, it makes perfect sense why Canelo didn't wanna be tied down by the lil hard deadlines the WBC was trying to enforce. And now that he has the lawsuit behind him, hopefully the GGG fight is made. And now that the belt is no longer a factor, this fight should be relatively easy to make.

every damn boxer who had their shot stepped up to the damn plate, Pacquaio stepped up against Oscar, so did mayweather vs Oscar, canelo went down to face mayweather for his shot, Ward going up to face kovalev, Khan went up for his shot, only one coward in boxing and that is lil triple flop. He was okay going down to fight rosado, mayweather and pacquaio, he wanted to face ward at a catchweigth for ward SMW title lmfao this dude is a bitch 100%
So why doesn't Canelo step up to the plate?????? I mean, if that is your logic.....

                      " macho **** " ?

oh, you mean like..... " anyone from 154-168 " ?

You tards who have CHOSEN to forget that lil'G talked all that "macho ****" for FOUR YEARS..... remind me of the pacstains who gave Manny a free pass for killing a super-fight by refusing to undertake random blood tests.

Their guy was OBVIOUSLY the roadblock, and his actions were HIGHLY su****ious...... but hey, let's just forget all about that and blame the other guy, shall we? LMAO

You guys who think that Golovkin affects everything in the world, like gravity..... are being ridiculous.

YOU are in love with Golovkin, and will do anything for him..... but Canelo doesn't give a flying fat fk about your infatuation with that man-child..... he will change nothing.

He will continue fighting at 155, and he may agree to 154 for big/title fights..... just like they always said.

Fk knows what Hypekin will do, and who really cares..... he has had PLENTY of chances to land a meaningful fight, but..... nadda !
