Brook and thurman would be the only guys I see able to win vs Errol... Not a given but they got a shot..

Manny n bradley are too worn down

Garcia, ghost, Devon, Porter, just doesn't have what it takes

Lots of people serve this Country that doesn't mean they give a damn about it's people.

I stand by my statement that your loyalty lies south of the border.

Spence's face is a magnet for straight shots. And given the fact that his chin is untested, I've gone as far as to call it a biscuit chin.. He wouldn't blow anybody out of the water at 147.

He has power, I'll give him that, and only that. Put him up at 154 and he gets slept.
A Khan fan going on about somebody's chin.

Khan's entire face is a magnet...even that rubber neck of his.

Spence's defense is miles ahead of Khan's.

I have a feeling they're setting Spence up for a fight with Danny G. That seems to be the biggest money fight they can make, meanwhile they have to build Spence's name up, and PBC is definitely helping with that.

I think Haymon's grand plan is to groom Spence as the future of the division, give him some decent fights, put him in there with a top guy to see if he really is the goods, then setup a Spence/Danny fight for PPV.
              LOL at Garcia.

they are feeding Garcia for floyd's 50th win.

i like what im seeing from spence. i heard he put hands on floyd jr during sparring.

Still too early to tell imo. He did what he's supposed to against Algieri if you're going to be special, but he has to actually follow through.

Here's how I think Spence does against the top dogs at 147:

Brook - Brook has a tremendous jab and right hand, but he isn't very mobile and won't be able to stay away from Spence, he can't fight in the pocket and Spence is too big and strong to clinch, he's a lot better than Porter who gave him a close fight. I think Spence by late stoppage.

Thurman - I see Thurman doing well early but Spence will do a lot of body work and slow Keith down, once he closes the distance, Thurman will struggle because he also can't fight in the pocket and he doesn't clinch either. Spence by decision in a competitive fight.

Bradley - He could give Spence some problems if he sticks to a gameplan and uses his feet for 12 rounds, but I would still favour Spence regardless. Spence by wide decision.

Porter - his best chance would be to use his feet for 12 rounds and use that solid double jab of his on the move. Porter's got good skill but doesn't utilise it enough, he's got very quick hands and feet and a solid jab when he uses it. I would pick Spence by decision, Porter is very tough and durable.

Danny - he's just too slow on his feet and not a good enough boxer to cause Spence any sort of problems. Can't fight inside either. Spence by massacre.

Sammy Vasquez - this guy is one to watch, he's gonna be a problem at 147. He's got great skill and can fight very well on the inside and outside. Very rangy and mobile, great variation on his punches as well. I he could give Spence a very good fight and even beat him.
Great post, and thanks for your thoughts on Spence. Never heard of this Vasquez kid. Definitely gonna give him a watch.

He fought Spence a couple of times in the amateurs and lost, both close fights from what I've read.

Check out his fight against Omotoso, real war.

Doubt it. Danny's been trying to get that fight for how long now, and it would've been perfect to feed him to Floyd when he fought Berto. The Berto fight made NO sense.
