Unification fight while the same ones here complain constantly that world Champs are not fighting one another. Well we have that right here. Only a few die hard fans of Dejan are upset the vast majority rather seen him face Crolla which is a much bigger deal.

Kinda counter intuitive that a guy that wins a vacant title would immediately be awarded a shot at the ring belt? they also mentioned in the article that Zlaticanin would mostly face the winner...and gave their reason for such a ruling -- I don't have a problem with it.

Edit: Keeping it real Linares vs. Barthelamy should be for the lineal imo even tho hes around #5.

Salido just fought vargas ring and espn number 1 ranked fighter to a draw in a fight many felt salido won. He also beat loma and rocky and miura just got knocked out. And everyone knows he beat rocky. Manny remained high rankings even after he got robbed by bradley. Salido is a proven top 130lber. Others are either unproven with no quality wins or just got knocked out. For the same reasons tbrb has salido ranked number 2 as well.

No he got injured and wbc came up with recess champion title for linares. And Hearn came in and offered a bigger better fight. If Hearn made this offer months earlier WBC would of allowed it because it's a unification fight and Dejan would be in the same position where he has to wait. He should just be happy he got paper belt that he didn't have to earn. Linares is still the true WBC champ I don't care if the belt is not on the line anyone who follows boxing knows it's two of the best lightweight champions facing off. And only you and a few non factor Dejan fans want that fight now instead of the Crolla fight.

Even though Linares has ducked Zlaticanin for a second time now and Crolla is the #3 lightweight behind Zlaticanin, the RING has decided to ignore both of these facts simply because Linares is one of the few names Golden Boy actually has left on their roster.

This once again reaffirms the fact that the RING has sunk below TBRB in terms of relevance and the RING is no longer the source for lineal championships in boxing (and honestly, hasn't been that source since 2012). All of their decisions are influenced by their owner, Golden Boy Promotions, one of the biggest leeches in the game today.

You must be missing the entire concept of lineal. It not 1 vs. 3. It's 1 vs. 2.
