Most Haymons guys are still fighting cans after 20 fights never mind fighting a tough opponent in fight number 2.
Guys like Errol spence who gets his **** ridden on here just fought his first real opponent in fight number 20.. So just stop spewing the nonsense...
And thanks for clarifying that he got beat by a former world champion who never lost and a current world champ at 135... You made a great point about how bad Martinez is...Last edited by Jsmooth9876; 06-14-2016, 05:06 PM.

Sick of both Networks doing that! It is not like Boxing have many hardcore fans to begin with, in America i would say boxing has just over 1 Million Hardcore Fans so to split them NOBODY WINS when they do this and it takes away from the fighters because the first thing people will say is "Oh Look Loma Is Not A Draw Look At The Ratings" but they will leave out the fact that they was going head to head with another solid card
Networks are looking out for THEMSELVES and not for the good of the sport of boxing and to me GREED will be the downfall of this sport here in the StatesLast edited by sicko; 06-14-2016, 05:27 PM.

These promoters run their business like charities for their favorites...I hope boxing just finishes imploding so it can be rebuilt...

I watched the east coast Showtime feed without resolve first.
I was not surprised. Ruslan Provodnikov vs John Molina, the fight was high contact and exciting! But it never turned into the fight of the year candidate I expected it to be.
Molina, in his first fight with trainer Shadeed Suluki, boxed enough and kept Provodnikov at bay for long enough stretches to win on scores of 117-111, 116-112 and 115-113. ESPN.com scored the fight 115-113 for Molina.
IMHO still a better fight than on HBO. They should not cry (the networks) they forced us to make a decision!

I never said Loma was a draw, so I don't feel bad. And like I said, I never crap on fighters for doing bad numbers, I don't even get into that. So I don't feel bad or like a hypocrite.
Guess what though? Loma still had more fans than Walters did when he was the Main Event. Loma also didn't have people leaving in the middle of his fight. And Loma is supposed to be the boring one.
Loma deserved more money than Walters back then and even more now. He accepted Walters' date, weight, had to probably give up his title for the fight the fans wanted, has a better contract than Walters. He was sacrificing more and you people still wanted Walters to get more of the money. You can't have everything!
Plus, Loma was the one that was supposed to be terrified of Walters right? Walters was going to destroy Loma. Isn't that what everyone was saying?
Walters should let poor Loma have more of the money and whoop him and retire him for payback. I mean everyone was so sure Walters would do it, so he should have just done it.
Now Loma has a belt, he made a lot new fans this past weekend I'm sure, HBO and Arum are getting behind him now and they will start to promote him, something they really weren't doing before.
I stand by what I said. Loma is not a draw but he's doing better than Walters. And he's trying to perform and improve for the audience. He scored KO that could be the KO of the year.
And I never said Walters wasn't a threat, idiot.
Check this out: Walters could have made 550K and now he's going to make $0. Had he fought and defeat Loma it would have been big for him. Now, however, who knows when he's coming back.
Sounds like a smart business move.
