You're right...I was looking at the peak for the Verdejo bout. Surprising that Verdejo and Loma did so poorly.

Why all the crying about how much Lomachenko makes? You ever think he signed a contract with a minimum purse guarantee? Same as Bradley,Pac etc.... Top rank seems to hand those out to guys....

And of course nobody knows who he is, he's had like 7 fights, most on under cards... People should get to know who he is though because he's fun to watch...

Hmm, personally I like Lomachenko's skills and find him interesting to watch. But with ratings like that can Bob Arum really make demands such as the one below?

Are you serious? All we ever hear is how much Haymon fighters get paid. And they're overpaid. Lomachenko is the most overpaid fighter in the sport. Good on his manager for getting him a good deal.

HBO doing bad ratings this time out had more to do with Loma then it did with going head to head with Showtime. We have enough historical evidence to prove this point. And Showtime didn't have some big spike in ratings to show that all the viewers for HBO went over to Showtime. Showtime did their avg this year and HBO fell off a cliff. This says a lot more about Loma then it does HBO going head to head with another boxing card which we have seen all year long yet ONLY this fight produced such terrible results.
The Showtime numbers did around what they usually. This fight did better than the LSC fight. Showtime didn't struggle going head to head with HBO but HBO ratings were lower. This doesn't make sense. Why was there a significant decrease in HBO ratings but really no increase in Showtime numbers?

Ok, so you really do want to complain about how much guys make as long as it's not Lomachenko. Ok gotcha.

I don't give a fk what he makes but don't try to say he's the most overpaid when he's done more than 90% of every fighter in Haymons stable in only 7-8 professional fights...
