This is like his 4th chance at making history. If he lose, then I hope it's his last chance. Wilder doesn't have the greatest chin, so he better fight like a tall guy and keep him off of him, or he will be taking a nap.

People are upset about this pick, but this is a keep busy fight, because the big fight was cancelled. No top fighter is going to take a fight so soon against Wilder. Of course Chris wasn't going to turn this opportunity down as he needs this fight. So you get a stay busy fight so that you won't run into nearly a year of inactivity, then you schedule another big fight afterwards, assuming that he wins. And it'll most likely be against Haye, or the winner of Fury/Klitcho. I mean, it's not like the heavyweight division is loaded. After Fury, Klitcho, Povetekin, and Haye, who is really out there?

Won't fight Povetkin because he failed the test, which is fine
But goes on to fight another fighter who failed the test? That's a joke
Whether its weed or traces of meldonium or whatever, you should be banned and not be able to challenge for a world title (paper or not) if you fail a test

You never know, anything is possible.
But this is professional sports, and more likely than not when a guy pisses hot he is dirty.
I think Povetkin is dirty. I think Fury might be about the only top heavyweight who may be clean though.
Sergei Kharitonov, the MMA fighter who was photographed lifting weights with Povetkin, was suppose to fight in Bellator, and he pulled out of his fight due to "undisclosed illness" less then 24 hours before his fight and less than 48 hours after news broke of Povetkin's test results. Like that isn't a red flag or anything.
I'm pissed at those Russian cheats though for not getting their cycle/timing/masking done right.

The amount of people who talk out of their a*s on here about Wilder ducking Povetkin is ridiculous. Wilder was going to the Povetkins backyard to defend his strap. Wasn't Wilders fault this guys popped. Now he gets a stay busy fight with Arreola.
With that being said Chris is shot. I hope he trains and this ends up being more entertaining than i expect it to be. Wilder by KO.

Also, marijuana is not a performance enhancing drug. If anything it's the opposite.
