If you know boxing, and you watch the fight, Wlad looks sharp and in impeccable shape. The lack of punches had nothing to do with age, or being shot, or over the hill. Nothing.

wladimir is goign to lose and retire. people [brits] are still going to claim he was prime. wladimir klitshcko has been boxing for a long, long time, and a lot of you clearly aren't aware, or have forgotten, how markedly different he was in his physical prime. this is a 40 year old athlete. prior to the advent of sissy matchmaking and PEDS 40 year old fighters used to be several years out to pasture. to refuse to recgonize that his age is the most important consideration in the fight is wrong. was it the only consideration? no. is it he most important? of course. the guy was 40 years old, and he's probably going to retire after this fight. he's not retiring because he's still in his prime and just doesn't want to be the f#cking HW champion of the world any more, trust me.

nobody's saying he was in his prime. but he has shown the exact same traits many many times throughout his career, difference is this time the opponent could capitalize on it. That's literally the only difference.
