Bob Arum wants Lomachenko to fight two more times this year!!

It appears Arum wants to bring Lomachenko back two more times this year. And he's going to have Todd Duboef speak to HBO/Time Warner about it.
He wants Loma to come back soon as in, 10 weeks soon.

Vasyl Lomachenko’s impressive knockout of super-featherweight world champion Roman “Rocky” Martinez on Saturday night has his promoter pushing HBO to capitalize on the breakout fighter’s skills.

This is the correct thing to do. They gained a lot of momentum on Saturday they just can't lose it like that.
Loma should be back in August or September is what I've been saying. Then end the year in November/December. Hopefully it happens.

    WAR LOMACHENKO!!!

That would mean he has had a grand total of ... 3 FIGHTS! OMG what a schedule.

On a serious note, I hope he does stay busy, he has to. He is young and should be fighting often. Plus, it should be against the best possible opposition.

      Good....keep him active.

Hate that he lost time due to the April date that never materialized.

Two more fights this year...Salido II and Berchelt?

I would love to see loma-Walters on the crawford-postal PPv undercard..

And then at the end of the year salido 2... If loma can win those, he is probably a lock for fighter of the year

10 weeks would put it more towards middle of August.

Would love to see Salido II paired with Donaire-Magdaleno.

This would be great, and congratulations to Loma on a terrific win (hadn't been online to say it). He's a top p4p talent and one of the coolest fighters you could possibly follow. I look forward to seeing him in action again soon.

Promoters can't force fighters. It must come from the fighters themselves. Verdejo fought in April. He came back after a mere 2 months and was undercard in the Lomachenko card. That's rare nowadays.

                  LOL.
The important thing, though, is that he fights more. He stays sharp and if he gains momentum he has to keep that momentum. If he fights every 6 months people will lose interest.
And there are plenty of good fighters at 126 and 130.

10 weeks would put it in the middle of August, as another poster has already stated.
Plus, the Crawford-Postol undercard is already set.
Loma will probably be back in middle to late August or September.

                    I wouldn't mind that.

Can you explain this a little more? Not sure if I quite understood it.
Lomachenko is the one that wants to fight more, so he isn't being forced.
