If he let his hands go, I have no doubt that he could dish a vicious beating on Fury.

This is sort of a Wlad vs Wlad fight to me. No offense to Fury fans. I like Hodor, er, I mean Tyson Fury because he's fun to watch but think the outcome really depends on the condition of Wlad's mind. If Tyson couldn't hurt or land even 8 punches a round on a mentally broken Wlad, how is he going to handle one that is fighting back??
My thoughts exactly. The best, even the 'normal' Vladimir we know stops Fury. It is a good thing we're getting the rematch, the first one was a fluke on several levels. Vlad 'needed' the loss; this he more or less admits himself, to give him back the proper motivation and mental edge.

Ah! The old Amir Khan route. A non-specific "mistake". Well played.

I remember him giving a good quote a while back, and I'm only paraphrasing:

Failure is not an option, until you needed to fail to get better.

Lets see what happens. No predictions from me on this one. Lets just see.

I thought I could roll with the Fury train with Wlad out of the picture, but Fury is an embarrassment and disgrace to the Title, with the way he is talking lately. Talking about not caring whether he gets defeated, that he will retire after this fight, that he doesn't need to train etc,.

        Not exactly promotional stuff.

His trainers basically screaming their guts out at him to wake up... if that wasn't enough motivation to wake up.... what does that say? His worst enemy is his mental state. He's had a bad case of nerves from the beginning of his boxing career. He won't lose that handicap... and now to add to his problems is a fighter to match and beat his size and reach. It will more than likely be a repeat or a mid/late rounds KO IF he is able to force himself into letting his hands go. Over 10 years as champion, multi-millionaire, 40+ years old. Time to retire after one final embarrassment.

Ho STFU you deluded Wlad, losing 12 rounds is more than having an off night.

You had a boxing math problem to solve and couldn't.

            + you can't fight inside

            + you're kinda over hill.

Don't know how you're beating Fury.

You should take in count those elements and found the perfect game plan to fight the perfect fight otherwise you'll lose again.

That's the spirit Wlad, lern from the pain. This fight is beginning to gather momentum again, seven months is too long out of the ring now their is only one Klitschko active. Being out of the ring seven months awaiting retribution and redemption for his fans is not fair.

If Wlad takes the mentality from the face off into the fight he wins, that simple.

Wlad seems to be under the impression that Fury just landed a lucky punch or something.

Fury comfortably outboxed him over 12 rounds. Can't wait for Fury to retire this fool once and for all.

Do you think Fury landing 8 punches a round had something to do with Wlad's ultra defensive style + clinching every time he had a chance? If anything, statistically, this was one of Fury's worst performances too. Even though it was easy for him, his numbers in other fights show us that he throws about double the amount of shots and usually lands at 1.5 x the connect %. I think both landed about 23%.

Even though this was Wladimir's worst performance, we have seen other fights where he also landed extremely few punches and wasn't ready to commit - The Haye fight being a prime example.

The difference between this and that fight was that Fury actually had the better jab of the two, and could hit Wlad when Wlad thought he was out of range.

What is surprising is that people were surprised basically. We didn't get to see an old Wlad or anything like that. He's pretty much been that type of fighter for a long long time.
Their was only one man looking for the KO in the Wlad Haye fight and it was not David Haye. Wlad pressed the action all night and was the aggressor, to compare Wlad to that night he has clearly declined since. That's the only comparison to draw from that fight. Besides that was 5 years and Wlad is forty years old now.

Fury had a chance to face Wlad in 2012 but as he said he wasn't ready, or put simply Wlad hadn't shown enough signs of decline yet. This is the main question of the fight, does Wlad still have enough to beat the top men in the division or should he retire instead of going down the route many have before him, losing to lesser men they would have delt with handidly earlier in their career.

It appears to me Wlad is taking sole blame for losing the fight, not blaming anyone else, the responsibility his own to burden. Like it or not the mentality Wlad has now he's telling us he's coming to let his hands go, if that is the case then Fury loses by KO.

Fury is sounding very demotivated and ready to take an L...I've never heard a champ speak like him before. Hope it's all mind games
