I agree that's the best case and exactly what Arum is hoping for.

But realistically, there is zero chance that a non-English speaking, 28-year old featherweight fighter who will likely top out at 135, with no natural US fanbase and little KO power, becomes a meaningful draw.

No matter how many times Arum claims that he's better than any fighter we've seen before.

I get that; just wondering how putting on that show would work for Roc Nation, the promotional company actually bringing the fighter to the table that'd actually be drawing near all of the business.

Cotto-Marquez is still being talked up as being in play for this Fall; contract will clarify things, but Roc Nation could call Zanfer Promotions (Marquez's promoter who does business with Top Rank), book the fight, and then load the rest of the card with Roc Nation fighters that they want to elevate.

I know what you were getting at now - I noticed I forgot to throw in another RN fight in that post. Rigo could be the 3rd title fight - its just that he stunk it up last time. Gassiev would be cool in the opening bout- he's headlined at least twice for them now. Anyway just speculating

ratings just came out and Loma only drew 597k viewers. So HBO paid him MORE then double what Vargas and Salido combined but Vargas/Salido got 833k viewers and drew way more fans in attendance. Yet Arum is asking HBO for money money for Loma a small fighter who has no fanbase. SMH
