And speaking about that part when you said it's hard for you to distinguish people of different ethnicities - I can spot an Anglo person easily in Russian crowd or any other tourist here judging only by facial features.

It's actually easy to spot a person who's not coming from your environment. When I was in Thailand, I've had a really easy time spotting another Russian tourists there, even when I couldn't see the face of some tourist and only his/her back, I could guess if that person is Russian or not with 100% accuracy. I was always right. I don't even know how to explain that, but you notice all microexpressions, all aspects of body language, facial features, mimic that would look distinct in your environment. I'm pretty sure that, for example, German tourist would spot another Germans with ease and Irish guy would spot Irish tourists and so on. I guess it's not like that in America, where people of all European ethnicities americanized to some extent. Keep in mind that different languages using and forming different face muscles so it has some effect on the way how people look too. I know a person who lived in America for more than 15 years and when he got back to Russia to visit his parents he was looking completely foreign among other people here, everything about him looked foreign even his face. That's a deep topic to discuss

I can distinguish a Russian (who's actually living in Russia) and Anglo person, these ethnicites even have completely different haplogroups in their genes. Saying that all white people look the same is as ignorant as saying that all asians look the same or Yakuts (Asian native ethnicity living in Siberia) and Koreans or Chinese people look the same. And yes, I live next to border with China, there's a lot of asians living here so I can distinguish these Asian ethnicities like Koreans, Chinese or Siberian natives as well
