In a perfect world..... I think that Bradley/Garcia should fight next..... the Porter/Thurman winner should fight the Brook/Vargas winner..... and the winner of that bout should fight the Bradley/Garcia winner.

Keith is right, there are too many variables, and too many unanswered questions..... welterweight is hot but stagnant, until some of these fights actually happen nobody should be given top spot.
Tell you what? I bet Garcia beats Thurman. $4$

I agree however, I think in line with matching up the best pairs to make the best fights it should be as follows:
garcia vs porter (garcia by UD)
brook vs thurman (brook by UD)
bradley vs vargas (vargas by UD)
      ROUND 2
brook vs vargas.....this should have come on the end of it because its the best fight here, bradley and garcia in my view are insignificant but each is different. bradley has experience but aged and garcia isnt that good.

Its the styles and abilities mixed with experience that I conclude these results and although it could easily be wrong, Its my belief kell brook will prevail but I do see this vargas kid as the man to beat in a boxing match, Thurman just tries to look mean but really could be kod by anyone above except porter but hey, hes an american so he must be great....

He just got thoroughly handled by an ageing Pacquiao.

We both know if Bradley fought Brook he would be put into retirement

That's why he turned down a shot at his WBO 147 lbs belt back in 2012 and go the IBF route instead and fought an eliminator vs Saldivia? More than likely the same belt they will have no qualms about dropping to avoid Spence once they get a hold of the WBO version.

You're head is so far up Brook's as.s yet Im suppose to be a fan boy.

Maybe it was because he didn't have to sell his life away to get a shot at the belt He has offered Bradley a fight on two occassions after that. The idea that Brook is ducking or was ducking Bradley is absolutely laughable.

Bradley also dropped out of the IBF eliminator - Just like Khan.

Dude look at your avatar. You are a fanboy.

Guerrero who walked Thurman down the entire fight... While weighing 15lbs less

Like I said, he doesn't hold a win over a top welter, and has been a little unconvincing since the Herrera debacle.

He is right in the mix in my book, based on pedigree, but like Thurman said yesterday..... until some of these fights start to happen the waters will remain muddy.

You simply cannot place him ahead of Brook/Bradley/Thurman/Porter, and I'm not sure how many of those guys can beat Spence..... then you got Khan/Vargas/etc also in the mix......

Thurman nailed it, if those guys fight each other, then the cream will rise to the top..... which is better than us arguing about it.

Currently, Garcia certainly cannot call any shots at welter.

Wouldn't be too surprised at all.

I never picked Thurman over Garcia ?

PM me if that fight happens.

If Thurman can outbox Porter and keep him honest, I will re-evaluate his chances against Danny based on that performance.

That is exactly what I'm saying, the top welters really have done very little to gain an effective gauge of their style at that level.

The makeup of the current welters in terms of style, means that a few of those guys will likely lose to other top contenders..... the style difference between the Top10 guys is huge, with Brook/Spence likely holding the advantage.

And I wouldn't write Bradley off against any of those guys.
