Chad can take a punch, he took some really hard shots from Pascal, I mean A LOT of hard shots for 12 rounds. He beat Hopkins with two cuts in his eyes.
The problem with Chad has always been mental, he never really had confidence in himself and he was always replacing trainers which further deteriorated his skills. He went into the Stevenson fight looking like he was questioning himself. When a boxer is questioning himself in the ring, that's a sign of of a boxer who is not confident. Had Chad just stuck with a permanent trainer before he won the title he would still be champion right now.
