    Canelos resume, objective breakdown

    Canelo Best wins:

Mosley--Way past his prime ATG, fighting in a foreign weight class.

Cotto- Extremely past his prime ATG

Lara- a debatable win which could have gone the other way

    Trout- A very competitive win

Cintron- Faded fighter, should have retired

Angulo/Kirkland- B- fighters who are both past it

Khan--A 140 ponder moving to middleweight for the first time in his life, wins 3-5 rounds then gets KO'd.

    GGG best wins:

    Murray-tKO
    Geale-tKO
    Monroe-KO
    Lemieux-KO
    Rubio-KO
    Stevens-KO
    Ishida-KO
    Rosado-KO

I would say resumes are about equal due to the age factor with several of Canelo's biggest wins. I think in any case GGG could have the edge considering everyone he has fought he's dominated in TKO/KO fashion.

    Who's resume is better?

      Canelo's resume is better. Clearly.

Lara and Trout both in their prime are legit wins and better than anything on Golovkin's resume. Cotto was past his best but still a better fighter than anyone Golovkin has beaten P4P.

I think Lemeuix and Murray whoop Cotto with ease, I think stevens beats him too(cotto is small). Lara is Canelos best win and he didn't win according to a great amount of people. Everyone GGG has fought has been in their prime. Canelos wins come against older fighters, or fighters that are naturally much smaller than him.

They would probably beat him because they're much bigger, but P4P Cotto would absolutely wreck them

The Lara win was tight, I personally had Lara edging it 7-5, but can't complain about Canelo getting the decision, it's Lara's fault for making it THAT close, he didn't throw anywhere near enough punches. You can't just exclude a win from a guy's resume because it was a close win, he got the job done.

Canelo has a better resume than GGG.

If Triple G were to beat someone like Jacobs, I think more people would give him some respect.

Bet you also think Geale could beat Cotto with ease.

Truth is people love to down play GGG he is a throwback boxer who will fight anyone ATG in the making just like TimBradley. GGG's resume > Alvarez. Sauls best "win" is Erinslady who i thought won the fight same with Cotto and jorneyman Trout the best thing going for him is his wife. If goldenboy wasn't tossing his salad the ginger would have 4+ losses he also had cringe worthy gift wins earlier in his career similar to Chavez jr
